Cookies, in plain English
YachtPlan uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. Nothing else.
Visiting the public pages sets no cookies at all. Cookies appear only when you sign in:
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
yp_session (__Host-yp_session on the live site) | Remembers that you are signed in | Up to 14 days, removed when you sign out |
yp_oauth (__Host-yp_oauth on the live site) | Protects the “Continue with Google” sign-in from forgery | 10 minutes, removed when sign-in finishes |
Inside the app your browser also keeps your chosen language and day/night theme on your own device (browser storage, not cookies). They never leave your device.
What we do not do
- No tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, and no social-media widgets.
- No selling or sharing your information for marketing.
Do I have to click “accept”?
No. The law lets a site use cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you asked for without asking first, and these are the only kind we use. You can block cookies in your browser; you will then not be able to stay signed in. If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly needed, we will ask first and update this page.
